Let's get you
back to choosing.
Pivessa is designed to be simple. Here are answers to the questions that may come up.
How do I create or edit a wheel?
Scroll to your saved-wheel collection and tap Create a wheel. Name it, add at least two choices, and save. To edit your current wheel, tap the sliders beside its name. Changes are saved when you tap Save wheel. Cancel lets you discard an unfinished edit.
Can I paste a list or change the order?
Paste a newline-separated list into the add-choices field, then tap the plus button. Each nonblank line becomes a choice. A wheel supports 2–48 choices. In the editor, tap Reorder and drag the handles. Swipe a choice to delete it.
How do weighted chances work?
Choices have equal chances by default. Enable Weighted chances in the editor to give each choice a positive numerical weight. A weight of 2 has twice the chance of a weight of 1. The slice sizes show the actual relative probabilities. Reset to equal weights gives every choice a weight of 1.
Can I duplicate or delete a saved wheel?
Press and hold a saved-wheel card for its actions. Duplicating creates an independent copy. Deleting asks for confirmation. The original wheel's past results remain meaningful in history even after the wheel is deleted.
Why can't I hear sound or feel haptics?
Check the separate Sound and Haptics switches in Settings. Sound respects your iPhone's silent mode and current volume. Other audio sessions or system settings can affect playback. Haptic feedback requires supported physical hardware and isn't reproduced by the iOS Simulator.
Can I make the animations calmer?
Turn on Reduced effects in Pivessa Settings for shorter spins and quieter effects. The app also respects the iPhone's Reduce Motion setting. You can choose among Cosmic, Aurora, Solar, Emerald, and Eclipse themes.
Where is my information stored?
Wheels, preferences, and history are saved in the app on your device. No account or internet connection is required to spin. There is no cross-device account sync. The app keeps a local recovery copy, and device backups depend on your Apple settings. See the privacy policy for details.
How can I delete my information?
Delete wheels individually from the saved-wheel collection and clear results from History. Reset preferences changes only settings. To remove the entire local library, delete the app in iOS rather than offloading it. Manage device backups and exported results separately.
How do I share a pick?
Use Copy on the winner screen to copy the result as text. Share offers text or a dedicated result image through the native iOS share sheet. Only the destination you choose receives the result.
What if saving fails?
Pivessa shows a save error with a Retry action. Check that your iPhone has available storage, then retry. Don't delete the app while diagnosing a save problem, since deleting it removes its local data. If recovery is needed, Pivessa attempts to restore its local recovery copy and shows a notice.
