Privacy policy.

Pivessa is a local decision-wheel app for iPhone, developed by Aasir Valji. You do not need an account, and the app does not send your wheels or spin history to us.

The short version: the app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated backend. Your wheels, choices, and preferences stay in the app's local storage unless you choose to share them or your device backs them up.

Information stored on your device

Pivessa saves wheel names, ordered choices, optional weights and custom colors, theme and feedback preferences, the selected wheel, and completed spin results. History includes a snapshot of the winning choice, wheel name, theme, and time. The most recent 300 results are kept.

This information is used to make the app work and restore your library between launches. The app also keeps a local recovery copy of saved data. We do not receive or remotely access these files.

Information we collect through the app

Pivessa does not collect personal information, device identifiers, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. It does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. Sound and haptics are generated locally; the app does not access your microphone.

Sharing is your choice

When you use Copy or Share, the result you select is passed to the iOS clipboard, a destination app, or a save action you choose. The recipient or destination service then handles it under its own privacy practices. Clipboard syncing, photo or file syncing, and other operating-system features depend on your Apple settings. Pivessa does not upload results automatically.

Retention, deletion, and backups

You can delete individual wheels from the saved-wheel collection and clear results from the history screen. Deleting a wheel intentionally leaves its previous results in history; clear history separately to remove them. Resetting preferences changes settings and does not delete your wheels or history.

Deleting the app using iOS removes its local app container. Offloading the app is different and may preserve its data. Apple's device backups, local recovery files, clipboard contents, shared copies, and files or images you exported may retain earlier information. Manage backups and exported copies through the relevant Apple settings or destination app. We cannot delete these copies remotely because we do not hold them.

Support requests

If you contact us by email or through GitHub, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to answer the request, troubleshoot, and maintain Pivessa. Please avoid sending personal wheel contents unless necessary. GitHub support issues are public; do not include passwords or other sensitive information. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the request and maintain a record of the issue. You can request deletion of information you sent by emailing aasir.valji@hotmail.com; retention by your email provider, our email provider, or GitHub follows their own policies.

This website and external services

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. We have not added analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, external fonts, or cookies. GitHub records visitor IP addresses for security purposes as part of its hosting service. GitHub support requests and other GitHub features are governed by the GitHub General Privacy Statement. Opening this site or sending a support request is separate from using Pivessa offline.

Apple may provide developer crash reports or diagnostics according to your device's sharing settings and Apple's policies. Pivessa does not add its own remote diagnostics service. These Apple-managed services are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Pivessa does not collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has included personal information in a support request, contact us so we can address it.
